Channing was raised on the farm his grandparents homesteaded near Great Falls, Montana. He attended Great Falls High, where he was a state speech champion twice. He graduated with honors from the University of Montana where he was a debate champion and chair of the Model United Nations. He attended law school at George Washington University in Washington, DC, graduating with honors in 1971. He returned to Montana, worked in the Attorney General's office and completed his military service before founding the firm that is now Hartelius & Durocher, in 1972. Channing is a successful trial attorney, author and active member of the community. He lives with his wife, splitting time between his residences in Great Falls and Cascade. He has four grown daughters and many grandchildren with whom he enjoys spending time.

Roland was born in Bozeman, and raised in and around Great Falls, Montana. After graduating as class valedictorian from Great Falls High, in 1988, he attended the University of Montana on a Presidential Scholarship. He graduated from the University with high honors, earning a degree in economics, in 1991. He then went on to law school at the University of Montana, during which time he both worked in a large law firm, and as an intern in the USDA legal department. Following his graduation in 1994, he returned to Great Falls to start a private practice. He joined the present firm in 1996. Roland is a successful trial attorney, active member of the legal and civic communities, and recipient of the Robert P. Goff pro bono award. He has a wife and two daughters. Both he and his wife are pilots. The whole family enjoys outdoor pursuits.

Jeff was born, raised and graduated high school in Great Falls, Montana. He graduated from the University of Montana with high honors in English in 1993. He attended law school at the University of Montana, graduating with high honors in 1996. He then went to the University of Florida where he was a Graduate Editor of the Florida Tax Review. He earned a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in taxation in 1997. Jeff joined the Great Falls law firm of Church, Harris, Johnson & Williams, where he practiced until 2007, when he changed the focus of his practice to helping injured people, and joined what is now Hartelius & Durocher. Jeff has a wife and two sons. He is active in the community, serving on the boards of multiple charitable and civic organizations, as well as an avid outdoorsman.
